Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AllCoaching Technologies Pvt. Ltd., having its registered office at Sangam Vihar Colony, Haveliya, Jhusi, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh 211019, India ("AllCoaching", "we", "our", "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our websites (including allcoaching.in and studio.allcoaching.in), applications, marketplace, and related services (the "Services"). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the rules made under it, AllCoaching is the Data Fiduciary for the processing described in this Policy, and you are the Data Principal. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and, for educators, the Educator Agreement.
1. Personal data we collect
- Account & profile data: name, email address, phone number, password, and the profile details you provide when you register as an educator, student, or parent/guardian (such as class, exam interest, language, city, or — for educators — qualifications and institute details you choose to display).
- KYC & payout data (educators): PAN, bank account or UPI details, GSTIN where furnished, and identity/entity documents collected before payouts, as required by law and by our RBI-authorised payment partners.
- Transaction data: purchases, enrolments, invoices, refunds, and settlement records. Payments are processed by regulated payment aggregators; we never store your full card details.
- Learning & content data: courses and batches, classes attended, test attempts, scores and analytics, assignments, messages within the Services, and content uploaded by educators.
- Device, log & usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, session events, cookies and similar technologies (see Clause 8), and analytics events.
- Support communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, or inside the Services.
We collect personal data directly from you, from your use of the Services, and — for a student enrolling with an educator — as needed to connect the two of you on the marketplace. We practice data minimisation: we ask only for what the stated purpose needs.
2. Purposes & lawful basis
We process personal data on the basis of your consent (which you may withdraw at any time — Clause 6) and, where applicable, for legitimate uses recognised by the DPDP Act (such as voluntary provision of data for a specified purpose, compliance with law, and responding to legal process). We use personal data to:
- Operate the Services — authentication, studio and app functionality, class delivery, test engines, messaging, and support.
- Facilitate marketplace discovery — helping students find educators by exam, subject, and language.
- Process payments, settlements, payouts, refunds, and KYC through regulated payment partners.
- Send transactional communications (enrolments, classes, payouts, receipts) and, with your consent, product updates — every marketing message includes an opt-out.
- Ensure safety and integrity — fraud prevention, security monitoring, and enforcement of our terms.
- Comply with legal obligations — tax (including TDS/TCS reporting), accounting, and lawful directions of courts, regulators, and the Data Protection Board of India.
We give you itemised notice of the purposes at or before the point of collection, in English and, where offered, in other languages listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution.
3. Sharing of personal data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Educators and students — to connect you: when a student enrols with an educator, that educator receives the information needed to deliver the offering (such as name, contact, enrolment, and performance data). Educators are contractually bound to use it only for teaching and lawful communications connected with the enrolment — never for sale, spam, or unrelated marketing.
- Data Processors: service providers who process data on our instructions under contract — hosting and content delivery, RBI-authorised payment aggregators, analytics, and communication providers.
- Authorities: where required by Indian law, a court order, or a lawful direction of a government agency or the Data Protection Board of India.
- Business transitions: in a merger, acquisition, or restructuring, subject to this Policy's protections and notice to you.
4. Children's data
Students below eighteen (18) years of age may use the Services only through, and with the verifiable consent of, a parent or legal guardian, obtained in the manner prescribed under the DPDP Act and rules. In line with the DPDP Act, we do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children, and we do not process children's data in a manner likely to cause them harm. Parents/guardians may exercise all rights in Clause 6 on behalf of their child, and may write to us at any time to review or withdraw consent.
5. Data retention & erasure
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes stated in this Policy — generally, while your account is active — and thereafter as required for legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations (statutory retention periods apply to transaction and KYC records). When personal data is no longer required and no legal duty compels retention, we erase it or irreversibly anonymise it. If your account remains unused for the period specified under the DPDP rules, we will notify you before erasure where required.
6. Your rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access — obtain a summary of your personal data we process and the processing activities.
- Correction & completion — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated.
- Erasure — request deletion of personal data no longer necessary, unless retention is required by law.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, as easily as it was given; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing, and some Services may become unavailable after withdrawal.
- Grievance redressal — through our Grievance Officer (Clause 10).
- Nomination — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
To exercise any right, write to contact@allcoaching.in from your registered email, or use the in-product controls where available. We respond within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act and rules. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India in the manner prescribed by law.
7. Security & breach notification
We implement reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal-data breaches — encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, segregation of payment data with regulated partners, logging, and periodic reviews. No system is completely secure; please use a strong password and tell us immediately if you suspect a compromise. In the event of a personal-data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals in the form and within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP rules.
8. Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies (login, security, preferences) and analytics tags (including Google Tag Manager) to understand product usage and improve the Services. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings without losing core functionality. Consistent with Clause 4, we do not use cookies for targeted advertising directed at children.
9. Storage & cross-border transfer
Our Services are operated for India, and personal data is stored with reputed cloud and CDN providers. Where any processing involves transfer outside India, it is carried out only as permitted under the DPDP Act and any government notifications restricting specific countries, and under contracts requiring equivalent protection.
